Juli Teal

Varsity Head Coach

I am entering my 7th year of coaching volleyball. I began coaching right out of high school, and have experience in coaching girls Jr High, and JV level teams. I started playing volleyball in 6th grade and played through high school with a local homeschool volleyball club. I fell in love with the game during those years of playing, and when presented with the opportunity to coach, I knew it would be a great way to expand my love for the game.
My favorite things about coaching are getting to see the players’ hard work pay off on the court, seeing improvements made throughout the season, and a passion for volleyball developed. When I am not working, or coaching, I love to cook and bake desserts of all kinds for my friends and family.
I am looking forward to an amazing season with the Indy Metro Mustangs!

JV Head Coach

I am a mother of 5 beautiful children and have been married to my husband, Kevin for 8 years. Most of my childhood I was a gymnast before I switched in my junior year of high school to play volleyball. I played club volleyball and for my homeschool volleyball team. A year later I went on to play college volleyball for Huntington University. Although I did not play for all 4 years due to an injury, I was able to fine tune my skills and was able to assist in encouraging my teammates. Post-graduation, I have played volleyball in some co-ed teams. I was a gymnastics coach in college. I love coaching! It brings me so much joy to pour and invest in these young women, to see their hard work pay off, and to see them grow in Christ while playing an amazing sport. When I am not coaching or playing volleyball, I am spending time with my family and friends, homeschooling my children, baking different types of desserts, practicing my cake decorating skills, or working as a therapist.

Courtney Baker

Jr. High Head Coach

I started playing volleyball in 5th grade and continued
through high school at Hamilton Southeastern High School and Club
volleyball. While playing, my coaches focused on making us better as
players through physical skills as well as increasing our knowledge of the
game and having fun while doing it! Even though I did not continue my
career through college I have stayed connected to the sport through local
leagues in the area and look forward to continuing with the sport with the
Mustangs!
This is my first year of coaching, but I am passionate about helping
cultivate talent and skills, while simultaneously helping them develop a
love for the sport. I am excited to be able to combine my passion for the
sport with an organization centered on honoring God and encouraging young
girls through volleyball!

Jr. High Assistant Coach

I have been involved in competitive sports my whole life and
played volleyball, basketball, and soccer throughout high school. From my
experience playing volleyball, I have found it to be such a fun and complex
sport. My goal as a coach is to teach the game in such a way that the girls
become passionate about it. I hope that the girls will fall in love with the
sport, have fun, and learn to work with each other to win. Junior High is
such a formative and fun age, and I am so excited to coach the Mustangs this
season!
